2006 School Trip to China
Shaolin training and studying trip will be on July 26 thru August 13 (exact date to be finalized) at the Shaolin Temple, China. Shaolin Instructors certification credits will be available after completion of the tests. All training and studies will be conducted by DeYang, DeRu and other Shaolin monks and Masters. All participants will be awarded with certification of participation if qualified. Pre-Shaolin Temple training camp will be held in Mobile AL. from July 8th thru July 15th as part of the preparation for training in China. This Qi Retreat is sponsored by Shaolin World Federation, which is still spiritually directed by Great Master Su Xi. DeYang and DeRu will be the Chief Instructors.
All participants shall pay tribute to the Great Grand Master, the Chan spiritual leader of the original Shaolin Temple for guidance.
This Qi Retreat will teach basic Shaolin traditional skills and techniques for mind body and spiritual growth. That includes Shaolin Chan Philosophy of human true spiritual freedom, mindfulness, ancient Shaolin forms handed down from generations of the Shaolin Great Masters and Legends. The retreat will also teach some of the most fundamental self-defense skills: Shaolin Qinna (grappling and common Demarks), body and mind toughening, and Chinese healthy nutrition-must-knows.
You will be studying and visiting: the Shaolin Temple, Chen’s village, Zheng Zhou, Luo Yang Long Men (dragon Caves) and Xi An: Terra Cotta warriors, Beijing: the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven; the garden city Su Zhou, modern city of Shanghai, Yu Yuan Garden, yellow mountain of Anhui, the most beautiful mountain in the world and other cities, You will also see the best performances in acrobatics and the Beijing Opera while experiencing delicious Chinese cuisine and the most beautiful natural and historical sights.
The cost of the trip to China is only $2,980.00 including top line hotels, food & lodging, touring sites, all transportations domestic and international, and daily study fees (airport tax and tips are not included).
