Christmas Kungfu Extravaganza
Free to the Public at Municipal Park by the Pavilion

Witness international fighting champions and Shaolin Kungfu champions in action!
More than 100 Kungfu martial artists and 20 international champions from the Southern US will demonstrate traditional Shaolin Kungfu to the local audience.
The Shaolin Legacy Show, a spectacular journey through the spirit of Shaolin, will be presented.
The Magnificent Five: Dragon, Tiger, Monkey, Crane and Praying Mantis will be on hand to sign autographs for the kids.
The Magnificent Five represent important animals in Chinese and Shaolin Kungfu history. They dedicate themselves to the development of a humble, confident, strong character through hard work and perseverance. They have both strength and weakness, yet are fully committed to building personal strength where their weaknesses lie. The Magnificent Five were recently depicted in the movie Kungfu Panda as the Furious Five.
Dragon: Powerful, seeking a humble character.
Tiger: Strength, striving for industry.
Monkey: Compassion and balance, desiring greater focus.
Crane: Grace and strength, building confidence.
Praying Mantis: Swift and precise, developing much needed patience.
$5 donation is welcomed for raffle and goes to The LIU International Education Fund - helping dedicated local students to achieve their goals through scholastic endeavor.
Donations will also be accepted to benefit St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
